Comments On Blogs

One of the best ways to attract more visitors to the website for your legal practice is to have more in-bound links from other websites.  If another website contains a link to your website, the search engines will view your website as more authoritative and popular.  When a website that is highly ranked for searches in the area you're trying to emphasize links to your site, search engines will give you even more credit.

One way to get more links to your own website, or to your firm's website, is to leave comments on other peoples' blog posts.  When you comment on a blog post, you generally have the opportunity to list your own website and to create a link to your own website.  In the world of Internet marketing and search engine optimization (SEO), creating links on other peoples' blogs can help raise your rankings in the search engines.  It can also drive more traffic to your site directly from the blog on which you are commenting, since those who are reading the blog may click on the link and be brought to your site.

If you would like to test this method of Internet marketing, feel free to leave a post commenting on this blog post or on any of my other blog posts.  Yes, there are SEO advantages for my blog in having your comments, but the advantages generally run both ways.  Web 2.0 focuses on social interaction, and the search engines usually reward such interaction for all involved.

Good luck with your Internet marketing and SEO efforts . . . .

Interesting post, but most blogs nowadays nofollow the links from comment posts which will nulify the benefit of the backlink.

This is great. I am not a big time blogger or anything but I was looking for a way for others to at least look at my site. When I ran across your blog I thought to my self how cool it was cause it was not spaming or anything like that. It was honest and helping others.
Thanks for the tip and good luck.
